The Zipper was built in 1934, as a fast hydroplane of category 225 by John Hacker for the 125 racing class. Since category 225 racing only allows one person on board, the cockpits were built one behind the other, with the aft closed for competitions. Her hull was designed to increase speed and to increase stability in a tight turn.

Zipper had a 47-horse motor and overall weight of 750 pounds. She illustrates the sobriety and the elegance of the runabouts of competition of the 20s & 30s.

This stunning model is made from solid hardwoods reclaimed from the furniture industry. The metal details are all made in individual castings and the seats are real leather. The attention to detail is exceptional and far better than other lesser quality models on the market.

The model comes fully assembled on its own display plinth.
