Propeller Desk Clock

During the Great War from 1914-18 a new type of art, known as Trench Art flourished. Gifted soldiers and army personnel used whatever material was at hand. Wood, bullet shells or fabric, during an era when planes were built from fabric on a frame. Popular products included lighters and clocks. The aluminium propeller clock was probably designed by an airplane engineer at a time when aluminium was used for engines and small parts. The Art Deco style base sets off a truly charming desk clock with a real sense of history.

Complete with battery.
